Brush Fire West Of Douglas Claims Two Structures
The fire – dubbed the "Adobe Fire" – started Tuesday afternoon and grew to more than 300 acres before being 100 percent contained.

TUCSON, AZ – A brush fire about nine miles west of Douglas started Tuesday morning and by early evening had spread to 335 acres before being contained. State Department of Forestry officials have dubbed it the "Adobe Fire."
Two structures were destroyed by the fire. Five others were threatened.
Officials say that the fire iburned through grasses and brush in the area west of the Bisbee-Douglas International Airport.

About 50 people were involved in fighting the fire.
A helicopter and additional air resources assisted with the efforts.
