3. ADOT's I-10 project to boost Tucson traffic flow and safety (kvoa.com) — If you drive I-10 or I-19 in Tucson, expect major construction and new interchanges starting in 2026 that aim to ease congestion and improve safety. ADOT is widening key stretches of I-10, rebuilding the Kino Parkway and Country Club interchanges, and upgrading the Irvington Road interchange on I-19 while trying to keep two lanes open during peak hours.
