Pima County Looks To Stop Domestic Violence Homicides
The county attorney's office, the sheriff's department , and other agencies will use a new questionnaire to asses the risk victim's face.

TUCSON, AZ – Law enforcement agencies in Pima County came together Monday afternoon to try and cut down on domestic violence homicides in the county. Officers, detectives, and deputies will use a new form to asses the risk faced by victims.
The 18-question form will also assess the risk that the victims will face in the future.
If an officer determines that a victim is in the need of immediate assistance, they will be referred to a victim advocate and a social services agency.

The Pima County Attorney's Office and the sheriff's department worked with other agencies including Southern Arizona Legal Aid and the Tucson Police Department.
