Tucson Family Surprised With Gift After Car Crashes Into House
Several Tucson businesses reached out to help after a car crashed into the family's home for the second time.

TUCSON, AZ — A Tucson family received a big gift after a car crashed into their house, nearly hitting their disabled son. It was the second time a car had crashed into the home.
The Waldron family got a big surprise when several local businesses saw their story on the local news and decided to help. After seeing the family struggle with a barely-working evaporator cooler in the hot summer months, Cummings Plumbing Heating and Cooling gifted the family with a brand new air conditioner.
"My heart really went out to them when I watched the story and I was really touched by it," Jason Carnes with Cummings Plumbing told local news outlet KVOA."They had originally just talked about replacing their current swamp cooler. But when I saw the video for myself and the story, I reached out to Carrier and we really wanted to get them air conditioning."

The company took things a step further and cleaned and leveled the family's backyard before placing boulders, donated by Kalamazoo Materials, by the home's exterior wall so another car won't be able to get through. A similar incident occurred in 2012 when a car crashed into the Waldron home, ending up in their disabled son's closet, according to a GoFundMe set up for the family.
The Waldron family lives in the home with two disabled children. Anthony, whose room was destroyed, is blind and suffers from severe respiratory issues.
