His killer is still on the run.Police had responded to a call early Friday morning that shots had been fired in the area of West 20th Street and South Farmington Road. There, they found the 36-year-old Varela inside a maroon 2007 Hyundai. He had been shot several times.While he was rushed to Banner University Medical Center, he was too badly injured and died on Sunday.Police say that witnesses say a black coupe was seen speeding from the area.
