• Saline County Deputy arrests Mountain Home man after machete chase through woods (mysaline.com) — A Mountain Home resident with a long record is facing new felony theft charges in Baxter County after being arrested in Saline County following a foot chase where he dropped a machete. Authorities say the car he fled from had been reported stolen in Mountain Home the previous day, and he is now jailed locally on a $5,000 bond.
   

• Rhonda Jean Henderson, 59, Mountain Home (Conner) (ktlo.com) — Mountain Home is mourning the passing of 59-year-old Rhonda Jean Henderson, who died December 10 and will be laid to rest at Baxter Memorial Gardens this Friday afternoon. Her family remembers a complicated but deeply loved sister, mother, and grandmother, and invites friends to share memories and condolences through Conner Family Funeral Home’s online guestbook.
