Agoura Hills' Dave Rand Reappointed To CA Housing Partnership Corp.

AGOURA HILLS, CA — Gov. Gavin Newsom recently announced the reappointment of an Agoura Hills resident to the California Housing Partnership Corporation.
Attorney Dave Rand has served on the organization's board since 2019. His reappointment, announced by Newsom Friday, requires senate confirmation.
The corporation is a private nonprofit that was created by the Legislature in 1988. Described as a “do-and-think-tank," the organization advises governments and nonprofits in their affordable housing aims, according to its website.

Rand, a Democrat, is a founding partner at Rand Paster & Nelson, a firm specializing in land-use and regulatory matters. He previously served as a regional political director at the American Israel Public Affairs Committee and previously worked at several other law firms, according to a release.
Rand earned his law degree from the UC Davis School of Law and a bachelors degree in political science and history from UC Davis, according to a release.
