Las Virgenes Municipal Water District (LVMWD) will conduct a tour of its potable water distribution facilities on Saturday, May 4 from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Advance registration is required by signing up at www.LVMWD.com or by calling 818.252.2200 during regular business hours.
The tour is open to those 12 years of age or older; persons under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Moderate walking and stairs should be expected by tour participants.

“This is an excellent opportunity for the public to see first-hand the many systems it takes to provide safe, reliable water to their homes every day of the year,” said David W. Pedersen, LVMWD’s General Manager.
Hosted by Peterson, the tour will include an orientation on the water system and a short bus trip to various District facilities not normally open to the public, including Las Virgenes Reservoir in Westlake Village. A complimentary light lunch will be provided to participants.
