City Council to Appoint Historian

The staff will recommend that the City Council approve the appointment of Cim Castellon, Cultural Arts Council member, as City Historian.

On the agenda for tonight's City Council meeting will be the recommendation of the appointment of a City Historian.

According to the Report to Council, the Agoura Hills City Council approved and directed the Cultural Affairs Committee to create and maintain a historical record of the city back in 1983. This voluntary role included “clipping newspapers and placing the articles in books, by subject, in order to keep a history of the city.”
