Murder Mystery Promises to Intrigue, Entertain
The Agoura High student written and directed murder mystery dinner theater is May 11.
Murder, mystery, laughter and an Italian dinner awaits those who attend Agoura High's Murder Mystery Theater May 11.
This year's production, entitled Buried in Work, was written by Olivia DeLaurentis and Sarah Crosthwaite, 16, and is directed by Sydney Heller, 17.
"We both wanted to enter submissions to this year's show," said DeLaurentis. "But when we found out that the other was working on a story, we decided to collaborate."

The school's drama board decides on the winning script, Crosswaite said.
The story tells the tale of Neil Davidson (Adam Fisher), a young man faced with an extremely monotonous life, who thinks he's in for a normal day at the office. However, when an unexpected murder occurs, Neil and his coworkers are anything but bored to death.
"This year's story is edgier and more sarcastic," said Crosswaite.

In addition, the production is entirely female run, Heller said.
"It's all made up of strong, independent women," she said.
All proceeds from the event go back to the drama department to fund future events and programs.
Tickets are $12 for all high school students and faculty; $18 general admission, and the price includes: dinner, dessert, drinks, and the show.
You can either pick up tickets at the attendance office at Agoura High School or e-mail Gayle Futernick at gf@gayleforce.net with a request to be e-mailed an order form.
