Reign of Terror Haunted House Returns

The Reign of Terror Haunted House returns for its 14th year Friday at Janss Marketplace in Thousand Oaks.

The haunted house, which is ranked as one of the top 10 Haunted Houses in the nation, is located above Gold’s Gym near Sears off the 101 Freeway, at the intersection of Hillcrest Drive and Moorpark Road in Thousand Oaks.

Here are the hours:

  • Fridays: Oct. 4, 11, 18 and 25 and Nov. 1 from 7 to 10 p.m.
  • Saturdays: Oct. 5, 12, 19 and 26 from 7 to 11 p.m.
  • Sunday, Oct. 27 from 7 to 10 p.m.
  • Wednesday and Thursday, Oct. 30 and 31 from 7 to 10 p.m.
The Reign of Terror ticket office in the Janss food courtyard area will open daily at 6 p.m. on the Haunted House dates. Tickets can also be purchased at participating Janss Marketplace store or at www.janssmarketplace.net. Admission is $15 ($25 for express pass).

Janss Marketplace will also host two Haunted House times for younger children from 1 to 4 p.m. on two Saturdays, Oct. 19 and 26. The less scary daytime tickets are $5 per child with free admission for adults accompanying children.
