1 Injured In Residential Structure​ Fire In Oakland

The person was rescued by another occupant of the building, firefighters said on social media.

OAKLAND, CA — One person was taken to a hospital after a fire in residential structure East Oakland, firefighters said Saturday.

The person was rescued by another occupant of the building at Clara Street and Walter Avenue, firefighters said on social media.

The fire was reported at 3:50 p.m. and was declared until control at 4:38 p.m., firefighters said.
