Adoptable Pet of the Week: Silly Stella
Friends of the Alameda Animal shelter is offering free adoptions on Fridays throughout August.
Silly Stella is the Friends of the Alameda Animal Shelter pet of the week who is hoping for a permanent home. She describes herself (possibly with a little hum:an help):
"I promise you that I have the softest, most velvety coat of any dog you'll ever meet! I'm Stella and I love it when everyone comments about how soft my coat is. They also say I'm silly. I don't know what that means. I just like to play a lot, especially with other dogs. People are always smiling at me, which I also love. Please come smile at me!"
Friends of the Alameda Animal Shelter (FAAS) is offering free Friday adoptions for the month of August.
Sixty animals of all sizes, colors, and personalities need new homes. All are healthy, vaccinated, micro-chipped, spayed/neutered and ready for someone to love.
The shelter is open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesdays and from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday through Sunday.
