Tell us about your business and its history in your town.
We are a green/non-toxic carpet cleaning business and have been based in Alameda since 2005. We are particularly known for fast drying times since we use the least amount of moisture for the job at hand. We are a family business and love working with our fellow Alamedans.

How has the new coronavirus impacted your business and its employees?
We are currently closed for most jobs, but it is still legal for us to clean vacant residential units or empty commercial jobs. Our business is down about 90 percent. Like everyone else, we are looking forward to getting back to work! Thankfully, we are healthy here and looking for things to keep busy at home — cleaning junk drawers, gardening and such.
How can local customers support you now and in the future?
For now, our hope is that everyone will stay safe, take care of themselves and help each other when and where possible. We are currently available to clean vacancies and commercial jobs. We would love to be of service to you if you need to clean carpets in preparation for a home sale, rental or need a commercial space carpet cleaned. Otherwise, we look forward to seeing you on the other side of this!
Do you have any words of encouragement for your community?
I'm proud of Alameda and how united we are as a community. I believe we will be there for each other and work together to rebuild our local economy when we get the all clear. It's important to stay positive, get some exercise and look for the positive energy that is out in the world — and keep spreading it around!
Are you offering any special services, promotions or hours during this time?
No promotions now, but we will provide a 10 percent discount once we return to clean for our customers.
Are there any other outstanding businesses in town you think deserve some community support?
If possible, please support the restaurants on the Island that are currently providing pick up and delivery! These food businesses are an important part of our community and are struggling to stay in business and keep their employees. We are making sure to do takeout at least two times a week. It brightens up our day to have a special meal and helps our Alameda business community.
