Alameda Gas Prices Rise: See All Bay Area Counties
The comparison to last year's price is stunning.

ALAMEDA COUNTY, CA — Gas prices continue to rise in Alameda County, but are typically less than the rest of the Bay Area, according to figures released Monday by the Automobile Association of America.
California has the highest gas prices in the nation — $4.70 today, $4.68 one week ago, $4.65 one month ago and $3.47 one year ago.
The nation's average is $3.48, up nearly five cents from a week ago and 18 cents higher than a month ago. The national average one year ago was $2.50.

There are three counties in California where the price of gas is higher than San Francisco —Mono, Humboldt and Del Norte.
