Alameda Restaurants Named Best Of The East Bay

ALAMEDA, CA - Readers of Diablo Magazine named five Alameda restaurants in four different categories the “Best of the East Bay” in 2023.

If you love bagels you are in the right place. Both the winner and the runner-up in the category have outlets here in Alameda. House of Bagels, at 1362 Park St. in Alameda, topped the category while Bagel Street Cafe at 2212-F South Shore Center was the runner-up.

In the distillery category, St. George Spirits was lebeled runner-up behind Sidewinder Spirits of Livermore.

Troy Greek Cuisine topped the Greek food category. Find Troy Greek at 2320 Central Avenue in Alameda.

And who doesn't love ice cream on a hot day? The runner-up in this category is Loard’s, found in Alameda's South Shore Center.
