Alameda's New Dandelion Kaffe Serves Up Lattes And Ambiance
A new cafe has opened on Park Street, offering lattes, ample space, and more.

ALAMEDA, CA — A new cafe has sprung up in Alameda: Dandelion Kaffe. Located at 1629 Park Street, it’s sure to become a popular spot with its thoughtful menu and spacious, bright interior.
The cafe offers over a dozen coffee drinks, including a dirty ube (ube with espresso shots), an iced coconut Americano, and lattes such as tiramisu, Biscoff, honeycomb, caramel and horchata (cinnamon rice milk with a shot of espresso). There are also noncoffee lattes on the menu – coco matcha cloud, chai, strawberry matcha and others.
Highlights include toast, namely “egg-vocado,” ricotta and hummus prosciutto. The menu also features six sandwiches and “Spicy Seoul” and “PB Summer” bowls. There are some pastries atop the counter as well.

The cafe’s interior is dark green, brown and beige, with the decor of plants and succulents, books, and framed artwork.
There's plenty of seating inside, plus a couple of tables set up just outside the shop, near its large front windows.

Dandelion Kaffe is open Monday through Friday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturdays and Sundays from 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Check out their Instagram page here.
