Where To Vote, Drop Off Your Ballot In Alameda

Voting in the Newsom recall election? Here's where you can drop off your ballot or vote in person.

ALAMEDA, CA — Ballots for the recall election targeting Gov. Gavin Newsom have been sent to Alameda voters and votes are starting to trickle in.

Election Day isn't until Sept. 14 but early voting options are available.

There were 944,600 people registered to vote in Alameda County as of July 16, the most recent day for which data was available.

Ballot Drop Boxes

You can always drop your ballots in the mailbox, but there are plenty of ballot drop boxes throughout the county you feel more comfortable using one.

  • College Of Alameda, 555 Ralph Appezato Memorial Pkwy., Alameda

Polling Places

Whether you vote on Election Day or choose to vote in-person a few days early, here are some spots to check out near you. Accessible voting locations are open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sept. 11 to Sept. 13 and 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Election Day.
