Bay Bridge Lane Closures Expected This Weekend
The overnight lane closures impact westbound and eastbound traffic.

OAKLAND, CA — Partial lane closures on the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge (I-80) are happening overnight this weekend, the California Department of Transportation announced Friday. Drivers should anticipate delays.
Interstate 80 westbound lane closures are scheduled overnight on Friday, Saturday and Sunday:
- From 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., westbound lanes 3, 4 and 5, from Yerba Buena Island, will be closed.
Interstate 80 eastbound lane closures are also scheduled overnight on Friday, Saturday and Sunday:

- From 11 p.m. to 6:30 a.m., eastbound lanes 1, 2 and 3, from Rincon Hill to Yerba Buena Island, will be closed.
The lane closures are related to Caltrans' Bay Bridge cable inspection project.
