Former KTVU Anchor Leslie Griffith Dies
She anchored the 10 p.m. news broadcast for more than two decades.
OAKLAND, CA — Former KTVU anchor Leslie Griffith has died, the station reported on Wednesday evening.
Griffith died Wednesday in Lake Chapala, Mexico, according to KTVU Channel 2 News. A cause of death was not given.
A family member told KTVU that Griffith was suffering from effects of Lyme disease since being bitten by a tick while living in Oregon in 2015. She had a home in Mexico and lived there since 2016, according to the station.

For more than two decades, Griffith anchored the 10 p.m. KTVU news broadcast with Dennis Richmond.
