Great Blue Heron Hunts In The Grasslands: Photos Of The Day

ALAMEDA, CA —Darren Billeb shared three photos of a Great Blue Heron, apparently hunting, in the grasslands near Crown Memorial parking lot last June.

The small mammals seem determined to avoid being a snack.
