Name of the person who nominated the hero:
Marcy Voyevod

Is the nominee considered an “essential worker”?:
No

What does the nominee do for work?:
Engineer, inventor, father

Why do you believe the nominee should be recognized or honored?
He is making ear savers for people who have to wear masks and the elastic irritates the ears, and diy face shields. All of theses are done with his own money and his own 3D printer and laser cutter. I am helping him distribute them. He also sewed masks to give away. He is doing this as he says: because he can. We’ve given out probably hundreds so far to: someone who managed a blood drive; a Kaiser nurse; food delivery people; Amazon package delivery people; a nurse midwife in Connecticut; friends; neighbors; etc. They are simple plastic things that people need and he just keeps making them.

What’s one thing you want everyone to know about your hero?:
Seton is an amazing engineer inventor who works hard at inventing (he has patented a few things) and trying to help in the world, and also raises 2 amazing daughters on his own. He is funny, sweet and brilliant. I call him a mad scientist and we have a lot of laughs.
