OAKLAND, CA — A suspect has been arrested in the shooting death of 24-year-old Lance Barr, police said Tuesday.
William Hommert, 25, was arrested Nov. 19 in connection slaying on Oct. 2 in the 2100 block of MacArthur Boulevard. The shooting was reported at 11:22 p.m.
Police said Alameda County prosecutors have charged Hommert, who is being held without bail in Santa Rita Jail. Hommert is expected to enter a plea Dec. 4.
