The expanded facility, now preparing to serve up to 700 families, has already trimmed its food offerings to stretch resources, even as local leaders warn that one in four county residents faces food insecurity.
   

• The 8 most dramatic course changes from 2025 (golf.com) — A renovated municipal golf course in Alameda now offers a fully updated 18-hole layout with firm turf, sod-wall bunkers, and dramatically contoured greens that rival private clubs.
