Mild Temperatures And Scattered Clouds Forecast For Bay Area, With Inland Highs In 90s
Forecasters say low clouds and patchy fog are expected to blanket the Bay Area's coastal valley.

ALAMEDA, CA —The National Weather Service forecast for the greater San Francisco Bay Area for Friday calls for cloudy skies and patchy fog in multiple parts of the region before the sky gradually clears.
Daytime highs will be in the mid 60s to low 70s on the coast, in the high 60s to low 80s around the bay, and in the low 80s to low 90s inland. Overnight lows will be in the low to high 50s, with some interior areas near the 60s.
Forecasters say low clouds and patchy fog are expected to blanket the Bay Area's coastal valleys early Friday morning before the skies clear through the day.

As a gradual warming trend continues, winds will stay light overall, although gusts up to 25 mph may develop in the afternoon and evening through common wind corridors such as the northern Salinas Valley, the San Pablo Bay region, and gaps along the northern San Francisco Bayshore.
The NWS says that through the early part of next week, inland temps could rise slightly above seasonal averages while coastal areas stay near or slightly below seasonal averages.
