Missing Bay Area Man Found After Disappearing Weeks Ago
The 18-year-old, who had been missing for weeks, was located.
OAKLAND, CA — An 18-year-old man missing since Aug. 5 has been located, the Oakland Police Department announced Thursday.
"Thanks to our community and media partners, Jordan Smiley is no longer a #MissingPerson. He has been safely located," the Oakland Police Department announced.
Police did not provide any further details about his recovery.

He was reported missing on Tuesday by the OPD. He was last seen Tuesday Aug. 5 at 3 p.m. in the 300 block of Burlwood Avenue in Oakland.
He was considered an “at risk” missing person due to medical conditions, police said.

His family had reported to police that he is autistic.
