Missing East Bay Man, 18, Considered At-Risk

The Oakland Police Department issued a missing person alert for a man in the East Bay Tuesday.

OAKLAND, CA — The Oakland Police Department is asking for the community’s help in finding a missing “at-risk” 18-year-old man last seen in Oakland two weeks ago. He is considered “at risk” due to medical conditions, police said.

Jordan Smiley was last seen Tuesday Aug. 5 at 3 p.m. in the 300 block of Burlwood Avenue in Oakland, police reported. He was wearing black pants and a dark-colored tank top.

Smiley is 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs 160 pounds, according to police. He has short black hair and brown eyes.

Smiley’s family reported to police that he is autistic.
