Neighborhood Squirrel Needs More Peanuts, Please: Photo Of The Day
Stumpy the squirrel lets her favorite human know when her nut bowl is empty.
ALAMEDA, CA — Steve Gorman's favorite neighborhood squirrel is Stumpy, who enjoys her own backyard nut bowl.
Stumpy has been visiting Steve for more than a year and counts on these treats. Her new trick is climbing the patio door screen to alert him when the bowl is empty. Stumpy's bowl bowl is promptly refilled with unsalted, raw peanuts.
