New Alameda Eatery Brings Authentic Thai Food To Park Street
A restaurant that centers on Thai cuisine celebrated its grand opening in downtown Alameda this summer.

ALAMEDA, CA — A new restaurant with authentic Thai street food has joined the Park Street lineup.
It’s called Million Spoons, and its motto is “Taste the Passion." Located at 1307 Park St., the restaurant is one of a few new eateries in downtown Alameda.
Staff at Million Spoons shared that the owner, who hails from Thailand, wanted to bring authentic Thai cuisine to the East Bay island.

“Coming from the heart of Bangkok, our founders set out to recreate the rich culinary experience that makes Thai food truly special,” they state on their website.
Million Spoons offers a variety of appetizers, such as spring rolls, fried tofu cubes, and steamed basa fish. Main dishes include several chicken- and pork-themed offerings and six noodle soups, with the khao soy chicken bowl described as “Northern Thai magic!” And for dessert, there’s kanom krok (mini coconut cakes with a creamy center) and mango sticky rice.

Million Spoons is open Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. The restaurant is closed on Tuesdays.
