Tickled Pink By Alameda Grass: Photo Of The Day
Geoff Geiger has looked closely at an everyday item and found beauty in the details.

ALAMEDA, CA — Whether in your yard or the wild-grown areas around Alameda, there is beauty hiding in just about every inch of nature. Geoff Geiger took this closeup photo of grass with varied coloration. He did a search of the image and turned up, "Sandbur, genus of plant in the grass family."
