Altadena Blotter: Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Paint Stolen and Other Crimes

The report consists of crimes and incidents from Sunday, May 11 through Saturday, May 17.

Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department's Altadena Station released the following report:

Sunday, May 11

  • Between 6 p.m. and 10 AM (Monday) – A commercial burglary occurred in the 100 block of W. Terrace Street. Suspect(s) entered the location via the garage door. Loss: paint.
  • 9:15 p.m. – A vehicle vandalism occurred at 735 E. Altadena Dr.

  • 8:30 AM – An assault with a deadly weapon occurred in the 100 block of Marathon Street.  ***Known Suspect***

Wednesday, May 14

  • 8:30 p.m. – A vehicle was reported stolen from the 1200 block of Martelo Avenue.  ***Vehicle was recovered by LAPD Newton Station***

Saturday, May 17

  • 2:40 a.m. – Aaron Whitely, 53 yrs, of Altadena was arrested for being drunk in public.
  • 10:55 p.m. – A vehicle burglary occurred in the 1300 block of New York Drive.  Suspect(s) entered the vehicle via unknown means. Loss: cane, black CD case.
