Altadena Teen With History Of Running Away Goes Missing
An insulin dependent 16-year-old boy has gone missing from an Altadena group home.

ALTADENA, CA — A 16-year-old boy who is diabetic and insulin dependent with a history of running away went missing Wednesday evening.
Xander Munoz was last seen about 7:30 p.m. at his group home in the 2900 block of El Nido Drive in Altadena, according to Deputy Armando Viera Jr. of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.
Munoz is Hispanic, 5 feet 8 inches tall, 138 pounds with black hair and brown eyes, Viera said. He was last seen wearing a black shirt and gray sweatpants. He is known to hangout near or around Old Town Pasadena.

Munoz is diabetic and requires additional medication and his family and caregivers are concerned for his well being and asked for the public's help in locating him, Viera said.
Munoz has walked away from his group home three times in three months.
