ALTADENA, CA — Residents have spoken during this year's Altadena Town Council election and have chosen to re-elect the incumbents for the eight open seats.

The council members will each represent a census tract in Altadena and serve two-year terms. The town council acts as an advisory committee to various Los Angeles County departments, and there are a total of 16 seats on the organization, officials said. Each census tract gets two council members.

While the incumbents were re-elected, three of the councilmembers ran unopposed. Three seats had two candidates running, while one seat had three candidates in the race. The eighth seat did not have any candidates.
