Arrest Made Following Fatal Shooting In Desert Hot Springs
Michael Alex Dodd, 19, was booked Tuesday.
DESERT HOT SPRINGS, CA — A 19-year-old Lancaster man suspected of fatally shooting a 34-year-old man in Desert Hot Springs was arrested, authorities said Tuesday.
Michael Alex Dodd was booked Tuesday into Benoit Detention Center in Indio on suspicion of murder, according to the Desert Hot Springs Police Department.
Bail information was not immediately available.

The shooting was reported shortly after 7:30 p.m. Sunday in the 66000 block of Avenida Cadena.
Upon arrival, officers found a man inside a vehicle with gunshot wounds, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.

The victim was identified as Francisco Lemus.
Dodd was arrested Tuesday in Lancaster. Police said there are no outstanding suspects, though the investigation remains ongoing.
