Banning, Idyllwild Wind Advisory Through Monday Night
Banning and Idyllwild are seeing the brunt of the wind as gusts reach up to 45 miles per hour.
BANNING, CA — A wind advisory is in effect in parts of Riverside County until 10 p.m. Monday, according to the National Weather Service.
West winds were projected to blow sustained from 25 mph to 35 mph with gusts from 45 mph to 55 mph are expected in the San Gorgonio Pass near Banning and Idyllwild-Pine Cove.
On Sunday, Banning Pass saw gusts of 40 MPH just before 8 p.m.

Gusty winds can blow around unsecured objects and tree limbs can be blown down causing power outages.
