Beaumont Man Held Without Bail In Death Investigation
The death investigation began shortly before 9:30 a.m. Sunday in the 19000 block of Kendall Drive in San Bernardino.
BEAUMONT, CA — A 38-year-old Beaumont man was behind bars Monday after being arrested on suspicion of murder.
Omar Antonio Mejia Ceron was taken into custody following a death investigation that began shortly before 9:30 a.m. Sunday in the 19000 block of Kendall Drive in San Bernardino.
According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department, when deputies arrived at the scene, they found a man who appeared to have been fatally shot.

People at the location were interviewed as part of the investigation, and Mejia Ceron was subsequently identified as the person who killed the man, the sheriff's department alleged.
Jail records show Mejia Ceron was arrested and is currently being held without bail on suspicion of murder. He is due to make an initial court appearance on Wednesday.

Authorities have not released the victim's identity.
A possible motive for the killing was not disclosed.
