Beaumont Tuscano's Pizza And Pasta Set To Open Soon
The popular Yucaipa eatery is landing in Beaumont, with big plans for the future.
BEAUMONT, CA — A new business is coming to town, bringing with it pizza, pasta and more.
Tuscano's Pizza and Pasta will open next week at 762 Beaumont Avenue, just north of 6th Street, owner Victor Barbosa told Patch on Thursday.
Barbosa said the Italian eatery will start with a "soft opening" as it settles into the new location. There are currently two other Tuscano's locations, one in Yucaipa and one in La Quinta. Both are also owned by Barbosa.

So, why Beaumont? And, why now?
"Beaumont is a lot like Yucaipa," he said. "It's a great location and it’s a very, very fast growing city and I think we could do pretty well there."

When the restaurant opens at the former site of Grumpy Tom's, it will start as a counter service operation in which patrons can order at the register and take their food to their tables.
The Beaumont Tuscano's will include the same menu as the Yucaipa and La Quinta locations. It will also offer delivery.
"We already have a lot of customers who come to us from Beaumont," Barbosa said. "When this opportunity came up, I called Grumpy Tom's and we made a deal and I just ran with it."
Plans for a grand opening are underway— sometime in the next few months, he said. Those plans include the addition of a bar and an outside patio area for dining.
"We can cater to [sports] teams and have team gatherings there," he noted.
Barbosa said he has been hiring and training staff, but still needs more. He will eventually emoploy around 30 people.
For those interested in applying, you can send a message through the Yucaipa location's website or visit it in person, he said.
