EDGEMONT, CA — A pedestrian was hit by a vehicle and killed Tuesday in the Edgemont area.

The fatality was reported about 6:15 a.m. at the Alessandro Boulevard on-ramp to southbound I-215, according to the California Highway Patrol and the Riverside County Fire Department.

Information on the identity of the fatally injured person was not immediately available.
