RivCo Security Guards Gunned Down At Inland Empire Party
One of the men died from his wounds.
SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA — Tips are sought after two private security guards from Hemet were gunned down while working at a party in San Bernardino County.
The shooting was reported at 1:30 a.m. Saturday in the 3500 block of Gray Street in Muscoy.
When deputies got to the scene, they found the guards suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Both victims were sent to nearby hospitals for treatment, but 28-year-old Howard Gabrelle Anderson Jr. died from his wounds. The other security guard, a 29-year-old man, survived the shooting, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department. His identity was not released.

A possible motive for the shooting was not disclosed.
"No arrests have been made at this time and the investigation is continuing," the sheriff's department reported.

It's not immediately clear why security guards were hired for the party venue. The media outlet OnSceneTV was at the shooting scene and footage from the agency showed what appeared to be a concert stage surrounded by barriers.
Gray Street is in a residential neighborhood that abuts a waterway.
