3 Hospitalized, 1 Critically, After Fiery Car Crash

VACAVILLE, CA — Three people were hospitalized, including one in critical condition, after a crash and resulting car fire in Vacaville early Saturday morning, police said.

Shortly after 2 a.m., an officer on patrol came across a car that had crashed and caught on fire on Leisure Town Road just south of Alamo Drive. The two front seat occupants of the vehicle were able to get out on their own but a female rear passenger was trapped before the officer pulled her from the car, according to Vacaville police.

All three were taken to nearby hospitals. Police are asking anyone with information about the crash to call Officer Nagle at (707) 449-5247.
