82 Vehicles Impounded, 2 Stolen Cars Recovered During Anti-Blight Effort in Nearby Vallejo
Vallejo Police issued 25 citations during an anti-blight effort & marked 28 vehicles for towing if the vehicle isn't moved within 72 hours.

SOLANO COUNTY, CA -- Police in Vallejo say they recovered two stolen vehicles over the weekend, plus impounded 82 more as part of an effort to rid the city's streets of abandoned cars.
On Feb. 4, officers checked 235 vehicles that were reported as abandoned, and of those, 128 were registered, legally parked or had been moved, authorities said.
Police issued 25 citations and marked 28 vehicles for towing if the vehicle isn't moved within 72 hours.

Officers are asking anyone who has a vehicle that's unregistered, has been left on city streets, or is missing parts that are needed for the vehicle to operate, to have it registered, moved or repaired.
Residents can report abandoned vehicles in three ways: by calling (707) 648-4682, going to www.cityofvallejo.net, or by using the Police Department's mobile app, which is available on Apple and Android operating systems.
