Benicia Police Arrest Transient For Vandalism

Police say the man broke windows in downtown businesses.

BENICIA, CA — Benicia police arrested a man Sunday for allegedly breaking several windows of downtown businesses.

Police arrested the 63-year-old transient after finding him at 8:25 p.m. in the yard of a business on the 100 block of West K Street.

The man was on probation, which was revoked. He was arrested on suspicion of vandalism, probation violation, resisting arrest and trespassing. He was taken to Solano County Jail in Fairfield.
