Bomb Threat Cleared, Evacuation Orders Lifted For Vallejo City Hall

Vallejo City Hall and the Vallejo Authority Building were under evacuation as police and fire investigated the threat.

VALLEJO, CA — UPDATE: A bomb threat that prompted the evacuation Monday afternoon of Vallejo City Hall and the Vallejo Authority Building was cleared around 4:30 p.m., the city said on Twitter.

"The avoid-the-area notification has been canceled. The Vallejo Police Department has cleared the bomb threat," the city said.

"Please AVOID and EVACUATE the area of City Hall, 555 Santa Clara Street, and Housing 200 Georgia Street," the city of Vallejo said on Twitter at 2:48 p.m. Monday.

Personnel from the Vallejo police and fire departments were actively investigating the bomb threat, the city said.
