Deputies Recover Stolen Vehicle, Mail After Chasing Down Suspects In Solano County
Two people were arrested in Solano County on Monday after leading sheriff's deputies on a pursuit in a stolen Nissan Pathfinder.

SOLANO COUNTY, CA -- Two people were arrested Monday in Solano County after they led sheriff's deputies on a pursuit in a stolen vehicle.
According to the Solano County Sheriff's Office, deputies spotted a stolen Nissan Pathfinder driving near American Canyon Road and Broadway, and when the deputies attempted to stop the vehicle, the driver sped away through a red light.
The pursuit ended a short distance away in the 900 block of Falcon Drive in Vallejo when the driver hit a parked car, sheriff's officials said.

The driver, 40-year-old Kenneth Roy, fled on foot and was found hiding nearby in a backyard by a police K-9. The passenger of the stolen vehicle, identified as 32-year-old Felicia Hanson, was quickly detained.
A search of the vehicle recovered other stolen property, including stolen mail, sheriff's officials said.

Roy and Hanson were booked into Solano County Jail on suspicion of vehicle theft, possessing stolen property, probation violations, conspiracy and resisting and obstructing a peace officer.
Deputies are working on identifying theft victims and returning the recovered items from the vehicle.
