Driver Hits Pedestrian In Vallejo Altercation, Official Says
The driver told authorities the pedestrian threatened her with a gun.

SOLANO COUNTY, CA — The Vallejo fire and police departments responded to a collision involving a vehicle and pedestrian near the corner of Fifth and Cherry streets Thursday afternoon. Fire department paramedic and engineer Kevin Brown said there was a verbal altercation between a female driving a sedan and a female pedestrian around 2:50 p.m. in the 800 block of Fifth Street.
The female driver reported the pedestrian threatened her with a firearm and she struck her with her vehicle in self-defense, Brown said.
The pedestrian suffered minor injuries and it was not immediately clear if she was taken to a hospital.
