Man With Body Armor, Weapons Arrested During Traffic Stop: Police

VALLEJO, CA — A driver who allegedly had a no bail felony warrant and body armor, a replica firearm, a stun gun, a baton and ammunition in his car was arrested by a Vallejo officer, police said Sunday morning.

A Vallejo patrol division officer stopped a Dodge Charger with no plates near Interstate Highway 80 and Tennessee Street, police said on social media around 8:30 a.m. Sunday.

It turned out that the driver allegedly had what police described as a no bail felony warrant, and according to police, a search uncovered the body armor and other items. The motorist was arrested and booked, police said.
