Man Fatally Struck By Hit-And-Run Driver In Vallejo
Police said this is the first fatal traffic collision in Vallejo in 2024.
VALLEJO, CA — A pedestrian was killed by a hit-and-run driver Friday in Vallejo.
Police said Sunday a 37-year-old Vallejo man was struck and killed around 8:56 p.m. in the 3200 block of Sonoma Boulevard.
First responders pronounced the man dead at the scene.

Investigators said the suspect vehicle was traveling eastbound on Valle Vista Avenue when it struck the pedestrian in or near the crosswalk.
Police said officers will examine vehicle debris left at the scene and video recordings in the area for suspect and vehicle descriptions.

The name of the victim is being withheld pending notification to next of kin.
