Motorcyclist Dies Days After Vallejo Crash, Police Say
The 27-year-old had been hospitalized since the June 22 crash.

SOLANO COUNTY, CA — Vallejo police said a man who was injured when his motorcycle struck two vehicles last month died of his injuries this week. Nathan Ray Vinson, 27, of Vallejo suffered severe injuries when
his 1988 Suzuki motorcycle struck a 2014 Ford pickup truck parked on Maple Avenue then collided with a 2013 Chevrolet Impala that was traveling south on Maple Avenue around 10:30 p.m. on June 22, Vallejo police Lt. Michael Nichelini said.
The Chevrolet driver was not injured and cooperated with the investigation, Nichelini said.
Vinson was taken to a hospital, but police were notified Thursday that he succumbed to his injuries, Nichelini said.

Police are investigating if drugs or alcohol were factors in the two crashes. Vinson did not have a valid driver's license or motorcycle endorsement, Nichelini said.
There have been 12 motor vehicle fatalities in Vallejo this year, Nichelini said. There were three fatalities last year and 12 in 2016, Nichelini said.
