North Bay Teen Found Safe After Abduction Prompts Amber Alert: PD
The 15-year-old girl was abducted from a gas station, police said.
NORTH BAY, CA — A 15-year-old Vallejo girl reported abducted in Santa Rosa on Wednesday, prompting an Amber Alert, has been found safe and is back home Thursday, police said.
Santa Rosa police did not elaborate on how Georgiana Bambaloi was found after being abducted around 1:50 p.m. Wednesday at a gas station in the 2500 block of Guerneville Road.
Authorities identified the suspect in the abduction as Ionita Cimino, a 20-year-old man seen driving a green 2007 Chrysler Town and Country minivan with a temporary Texas license plate with license No. 12478U3.

No information was immediately available on Cimino's whereabouts as of Thursday morning.
