Solano County Costco Stores Continue Special Hours For 60, Older

As coronavirus cases rise, Costco decides to keep its senior hours for two days each week.

SOLANO COUNTY, CA — Costco Wholesale has decided to continue offering special hours for seniors to keep them safe as the number of coronavirus cases rises. Seniors can continue shopping during exclusive hours two days each week: Tuesday and Thursday.

The company initially planned to stop senior hours but opted to offer it for guests as the delta variant cases grow across the U.S.

Costco Wholesale has three Solano County locations:

  • Vallejo, 198 Plaza Drive
  • Fairfield, 5101 Business Center Drive
  • Vacaville, 1051 Hume Way

Hours for seniors or anyone with disabilities are 9 to 10 a.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays.

"Only club members 60 and older, people with disabilities and immunocompromised shoppers will be admitted during those hours," AARP reports.

Costco members who work in health care or as first responders can also shop during these hours with proper identification.
